$2,500 sign-on bonus

POSITION OVERVIEW
The primary responsibility of this position is to lease apartments to prospective residents by effectively demonstrating value in the features and amenities of the community as it relates to their individual lifestyle. In this role, the individual will offer meaningful recommendations for maximizing sales efforts based on trends in traffic, speak intelligently to the advantages of the community location, and perform effective community outreach.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides thorough knowledge to prospective residents on the apartment, community and local area; describes current market conditions; and is knowledgeable of area competitors.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency with prospective and current residents in answering phone calls, responding to emails and following-up on inquiries or addressing concerns.
Conducts and follows-up on leads for new sales opportunities with realtors, locators, corporate housing providers and potential business relationships.
Processes all rental applications for approval; verifies all pertinent information and submits to manager for approval; prepares lease for future resident.
Demonstrates responsible recordkeeping in maintaining resident information, ensures sales reports are accurate, and commission records are always current.
Presents the community, model apartments, vacant apartments and amenities to prospective residents in a professional and knowledgeable manner; offers a timely response and follows-up with prospective residents.
Establishes a presence within the local market through networking and social functions, creates an outreach program to connect with local merchants and restaurant owners; and promotes resident activities.
Assists residents and their guests in a courteous and efficient manner; and plays a vital role in ensuring overall resident satisfaction.
Ensures that the sales office, models, vacant apartments and common areas meet the Company's standards. Personally inspects apartments before move-in, and reports any and all deficiencies to the Property Manager.
Maintains confidentiality of co-workers, management, owners, past and current residents, vendors, and all outside contacts.
Maintains consistent and timely attendance, sets an example for their co-workers in punctuality.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High school is required. Post-Secondary education or degree is preferred.
Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of relevant sales experience.
Previous employment within a sales-commission role is required.
Availability to work a flexible schedule; any day of the week including weekends.
Leasing license or obtain within 120 days of employment if required by state law (if applicable).
Ability to write and communicate professionally in English.
SKILLS AND ABILITY
Ability to demonstrate intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to apply sound decision-making when assisting residents and their guests.
Ability to resolve residents concerns while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to demonstrate customer service skills by engaging the residents in conversation to identify their needs or concerns.
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively and adapt interpersonal skills to a variety of audiences.
Ability to demonstrate teamwork by assisting and communicating with co-workers.
