Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Mandeville, Louisiana - JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a competitive field sales representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. Our ultimate salesperson is someone who will relay that we are the expert and this is the solution. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As an outside sales representative, or sales agent, they will also research sales competition.
JOB DUTIES
Our company works on a lead generating base, but we do not mind someone who likes to cold call.
All leads will be conducted in a presentation style.
Evaluate customers needs, wants and build productive long lasting relationships
Meet personal and team sales targets
Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
Report and provide feedback to management
WORK
Sales experience is not required but a sales mindset is a plus.
Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management is a plus
Computer use competency
Must be willing to learn, even if applicant has sales experience.
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Self motivated and driven
COMMISSION BASED SALARY
10% per job sold in a residential application. You will receive 5% once deposit is made, and then 5% once job is completed.
5% per job sold in a commercial application. You will receive the full 5% once job is completed. (Unless they pay deposit then you will receive 2.5%/ then 2.5%)
Training will provide a salary for the first 2 weeks. Salary would be discussed once job was offered, dependent on experience.
