Staff Accountant Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - Are you a detail-oriented self-starter who strives for excellence and accuracy in their work?
If so, you will be the perfect addition to our Accounting team. Integrity, reliability and a strong work ethic are a must to succeed in this role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience with the ability to quickly grasp new methods and processes. You must be able to work independently in a firm deadline environment. Experience in quarterly/annual payroll reporting, and knowledge of prevailing wages is a plus. AIA billing or Construction experience in a payroll capacity is required.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Accounts Receivable - AIA Billing
Payroll entry and weekly processing for 100+ employees.
Quarterly and Annual Payroll Reports - 940/941, SUTA
Prevailing Wage Calculations
Lien Releases
Annual Reporting and W-2?s
Requirements:
Pre-employment drug screening
Professional communication and writing skills
Constructions accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
