N/C & CNC Programmer Needed Job Opening in tulsa, Oklahoma - N/C & CNC Programmer Needed The programmer will plan & code numerical control programs that utilize the facilities N/C & CNC machine tools in an efficient manner. Optimize current & existing programs so that new developments in tooling & procedures may be taken advantage of. Use computer equipment in an efficient manner to avoid cost overruns. Maintain accurate & viasable programming documentation. Provide accurate job activity data for use in forecasting future programming needs. Assist other facilities with CAM programs and Macros, candidate must be able to communicate verbally & electronically with all remote location sites. Candidate must prepare,document & assist in prove out all new & alternate N/C & CNC programs as determined by route sheet or by request. Candidate must review new designs & proposed changes so that production is feasible & economical. The programmer is responsible for availibility of suitable tooling through make/buy or redesign decisions with Manufacturing Engineering & Tool Engineering. Must select tooling & prepare setup, label geometry on part print, computer write program, debug part program, post, process & distribute documentation and prove out program as needed. Enhance proven programs to their maximum efficiency. Incumbent is responsible to see that Manufacturing Engineering is notified of program prove out in order that a time standard can be calculated and added to route sheet. Participate in Quality process with ongoing Management commitment to personnel. Must pass background check & drug testing. Full time Position. tulsa ok oklahoma
