Orthopaedic Office Supervisor - Derry/Windham, NH Job Opening in Concord, New hampshire - Description
Responsible for the Derry and Windham satellite locations to include: Radiology, Front Office, Clinical and Surgical Scheduling. Coordinates activities of both satellite branches by performing or delegating the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Plan and schedule work for team members to ensure proper work distribution and adequate coverage to providers. Provides support and cross coverage of tasks for all roles. Plan and provide a weekly staff schedule and revise as needed.
2. Ensures physician teams are managed while at satellite location and confirm physician needs are met.
3. Analyze and organize office operations and procedures such as time card/payroll processing, of medical and office supplies, flow of scanning and faxing correspondence.
4. Evaluate and revise office polices or new forms to improve efficiency of workflow, and to achieve optimum utilization of resources and improve patient care.
5. Responsible for the compliance of COPA employee handbook/policies within span of control, including HIPAA, Safety/OSHA and computer policies.
6. Provides leadership in developing an environment of mutual respect, courtesy and personal accountability.
7. Acts as the Super User of all computer programs essential to staff and provider performance.
8. Responsible for performance management of team members. Seek input and guidance as appropriate from department manager.
9. Maintain professional relations within the professional community and attend routine business after hour?s events and other public relations activities, as determined by the department manager.
10. Responsible for supervising up to 10 personnel including; hiring, training, performance appraisals, vacation schedules, time card report, employee recognition and discipline, provide ongoing feedback to staff regarding performance and professional standards. Develop and implement performance standards that equip the team.
11. Address and resolve conflict with the group in a positive and constructive manner, to include customer complaints in accordance with established guidelines.
12. Conduct monthly team meetings with agenda, minutes and monitoring of action items.
13. Attends bi-weekly leadership team meetings at the main office in Concord.
14. Coordinate with facility management to ensure the offices are clean and maintained.
Requirements
Position requires minimal reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting; requires moderate to extensive keyboarding, moderate walking, and frequent sitting.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with This position will be Monday through Friday, primarily days, though flexibility will be required.
Education
Formal education to include minimum 2 year college coursework in Medical/Healthcare, 3-5 years previous experience in medical setting (orthopaedics helpful).
Location
Concord Orthopaedics is a 35-provider orthopaedic group with offices in Concord, Derry, New London and Windham. This position is responsible for Derry and Windham office locations.
