Admissions Representative Job Opening in West Warwick, Rhode island - The Admissions Representative is primarily responsible for enrolling students into school programs.
This is done by procuring and contacting leads, advising prospective students, presenting clear and accurate information about the school to prospective, current and former students, the public, and all interested parties to guard against any misrepresentation to best promote our school and program offerings, and maintaining and meeting a budgetary quota for sales performance. We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills who is a natural networker that can also be detail oriented with regulatory compliance.
Associates Degree from an accredited educational institution required.
Previous experience in the Education Industry required.
A more detailed description of duties is outlined below:
Answer phones, route calls to proper departments, and record phone messages. * Greet visitors and walk-in appointments. * Record and forward student payments to Accounting Services. * Handle student and teacher inquiries and requests. * Responsible for proper opening and closing of the building when scheduled. * Responsible for scheduling appointments for all departments. * Maintain your lead file. * Complete your performance report/daily log. * Follow up on all leads, interviews and enrollments by calling, interviewing, or mailing. * Conduct daily interviews with prospective students; facilitate their enrollment by assisting with all phases of paperwork. * Conduct follow-up interviews with new students the week following orientation. * Assist with ventures and reporting. * Meet sales goals and targets as outlined by your budgetary quota. * Send follow-up letters and regularly contact all booked futures. * Responsible to send, track receipt, review and file all high school transcripts for enrolled students. * Responsible to collect, review, track and file all required physical forms for enrolled medical assistant students. * Establish good relations with the community, local high school guidance and career offices. * Attend local community and high school workshops and fairs. * Assist, attend and participate in orientation, graduation, and all student functions. * Attend weekly staff meetings. * Assist and attend advisory council annually. * Attend quarterly staff development training sessions. * Assignments as needed.
