Director of Activities Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - We are seeking an Activity Director to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of our residents. We have a diverse group of residents with skilled needs, who are here for both short term or long term care. We have a very strong activities team at Chalet Living and Rehab, and we are looking for a new Director!
Full-time, Monday-Friday, Activity Director. You will be required to work one Saturday or Sunday a month.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall operations of the facility?s Activity Department which includes supervision of staff, development and implementation of departmental policy and procedures, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, local regulations.
Regularly develops new programs to meet new trends and industry standards.
Responsible for operating the Activities department within budgetary guidelines and limitations.
Observe and report Guest?s attendance, participation, and behavior changes by documenting and charting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in recreation therapy or similar field.
CTRS preferred but not mandatory.
Activity Director Certification preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to be in compliance with IDPH and Joint Commission requirements and standards.
Must have an amazing work ethic, team focus, and ability to multitask.
