Sr Business Analyst Job Opening in RICHMOND, Virginia - Job Title: Business Analyst III

Position Description
? Leads meetings with stakeholders to identify, assess, document, and review software requirements
? Translates business requirements to functional requirements; ensures the development team understands the requirements; supports IT design questions
? Prepares for and participates in User Acceptance Testing to ensure requirements were properly translated
? Creates and maintains all requirements documentation to include user stories, process models, and wireframes
? Ensures user stories are routed for approval and prioritization by the customer
? Participates in data analysis as it pertains to requirements issues and gaps
? Documents and communicates requirements changes to all impacted parties
? Coordinates all requirements issues between business customers, PM, QA, and technical team
? Evaluates business processes, anticipates requirements, and recognizes opportunities to take advantage of technology to support business objectives; leads business to better visualize optimization strategies
? Presents demonstrations of software functionality to business audiences

Position Requirements
? Bachelor?s degree and minimum of 4 years? experience. Additional experience may be required in lieu of degree.
? At least five years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
? Experience writing business and functional requirements in the development of complex software
? Experience facilitating a Business Requirements session with 10+ participants representing varied concerns
? The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
? Excellent documentation skills, including writing of effective user stories and use of diagramming software such as MS Visio; experience with wireframing software preferred
? Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
? Highly self-motivated and directed, with a proactive approach to problem solving
? Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects
? Experience writing detailed test plans and testing software against requirements
? Ability to analyze and write scope change requests to requirements
? Strong customer service orientation
? Experience using MS DevOps strongly preferred
? Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance ? US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.
? Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years
