Sales Consultant - Solar Job Opening in Charleston, South carolina - Palmetto, one of South Carolina's largest and fastest growing residential solar companies is seeking qualified outside sales consultants to service the Charleston Metro market.
Job Description
Palmetto's outside sales consultants are the face of the company. They are expected to be friendly, knowledgeable, and able to build strong relationships with potential customers. Consultants will need to be able to balance their time, generating leads, visiting with prospective customers at their homes, and generating referrals from current customers.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for, generate and qualify leads (includes going door-to-door)
- Analyze customer's electrical usage and determine projected savings
- Conduct preliminary site evaluations
- Closing deals and signing contracts at client homes- Manage FULL sales cycle
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years consumer sales experience preferred
- Door to door experience a plus
- Experience in the solar industry a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to excel at self-generating leads and acquiring new business
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed monthly sales goals
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or equivalent
- Four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent experience in related field
- Valid driver's license

- Motivated to earn $75K-$150K+
