The Position of Community Sales Counselor is knowledgeable in all aspects of the community and the mission of the community. This position is responsible for generating leads, lead management, closing sales and meeting monthly sales expectations.
General Duties
Establishes strategic marketing plans to guide marketing efforts and help Achieve 100% census.
Guides the decision process by communicating our values to future residents and families through tours, analyzing the individual needs and presentations.
Know and be able to explain the history of the development of the community and corporate involvement.
Greet any prospects pleasantly and professionally on the telephone and in person presenting a positive image for the community and the corporation.
Know the various types of floor plans, the features and services involved with each floor plan and the availability of each.
Maintains detailed customer data base in order to stay in close contact with prospects and their families.
Transports prospects within a reasonable distance to and from the community.
Evaluates potential residents for appropriateness for Assisted and Independent Living. This includes visiting potential residents in nursing homes, rehab facilities and their homes.
Counsels with potential clients and their families through the decision making process.
Visits current residents in hospitals, nursing homes and rehab facilities. Participates in the evaluation of residents when they are ready to return to the facility.
Plans, coordinates and carries out events that promote the facility and involves prospects.
Completes all necessary reports including move in/ move out, inquiry forms, traffic reports, census, prospect list, etc. in a timely manor.
Carries out the admission process for all new residents in the absence of the Admission Coordinator.
Briefly discusses each prospect with the Administrative Staff in weekly staff meetings.
Be able and willing to assist the Director/management with group presentations.
Be familiar with the common objections raised by prospects and know how to overcome them.
Counsels with residents and their families when internal moves are necessary.
Educates the medical community regarding the Winnwood and its services of Assisted Living and Independent Living in order to gain appropriate resident referrals
Establishes and maintains a consistent Winnwood image throughout the community with promotional materials and special events held or sponsored by Winnwood.
Build rapport with current residents and families.
Participates in the Manager on duty program.
Other duties as assigned which related to the success of the community and the care, comfort and happiness of the residents
