JOB DESCRIPTION (Paid position):
The Part-Time Associate Accountant will have the following responsibilities:
Assist Financial Accountant with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Expense billing.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients and partners
Contact vendors with questions or concerns about bills and answers vendor inquiries.
Assist with maintaining Human Resources records.
Assist CFO and Financial Accountant as necessary with other tasks including but not limited to: answering and directing incoming phone calls, filing, copying, record retention, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications: Applicants should be Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting majors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Experience with Quickbooks is preferred. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, excellent communication and writing skills are all essential to this position, as well as a high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
This is a part-time position (2 or 3 days a week). Please indicate the time period and days you are available if possible.
