What You Will Get To Do:
Provide exceptional service to the men and women in law enforcement who rely on your product.
Build and manage custom applications
Architect, design and implement beautiful, performant, and scalable PHP code.
Create new features that makes the lives of investigators safer and easier.
Collaborate with our Mobile Team to deliver a seamless web, telephony, and app experience.
Always be on the bleeding edge - integrating 3rd party APIs, deploying real-time applications, etc.
Collaborate with other developers using a Git-based team workflow to branch, merge, and deploy changes
Skills & Experience That Will Help You Do the Job:
5+ years of PHP professional development experience
Expert at working with Symfony 3 and/or related PHP web application frameworks
Proficient at version control using Git and web-based repositories
Proficient with Linux shell usage (bash/zsh)
Strong MySQL knowledge
Production expertise with PHP, jQuery and MySQL on LAMP stack
Experience using and integrating REST APIs into web applications
Amazon Web Services (AWS) proficiency (S3, EC2, Beanstalk, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda)
Understanding of Amazon Key Management Service (KMS) and KeyStore
Advanced understanding of encryption and application security
DevOps experience (Heroku, AWS)
Strong CS fundamentals and problem solving skills
Ability to produce clean, understandable code following best practices
Proficiency in testing, QA, and documentation
Excellent debugging skills
Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail
Team player who enjoys agile environments
Compassion for public servants and total respect for secrecy
Passion, drive, energy, a sense of humor, and a great attitude!
Bonus Points:
Computer Science degree or equivalent
Experience with SMS or Voice telephony APIs
Active contributor to open source technologies
Active or previous security clearance
