Job Purpose:
The Mid-Level Developer brings strong web-based application development skills to assist us with our on-going projects and developmental goals. Requires strong knowledge and experience with the entire software development life cycle. The right individual for this role will be a motivated and energetic developer who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work.
Developer Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, write and implement software solutions
Create user interfaces from provided design using standard HTML/CSS practices
Development of robust and user-friendly -based web applications
Work within a Microsoft SQL environment
Perform unit testing to ensure high quality and appropriate functionality
Perform routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications
Communicate project status and deliverables with managers and clients
Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication
Other Desired Developer Experience:
Angular development
SharePoint 2013 development
Knowledge of the financial industry
Knowledge of Email Marketing and Online Lead Generation
Developer Job Qualifications:
2+ years of web development, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS and - C# preferred
MVC 4, jQuery experience
Restful and SOAP web service experience
Candidates should have proven experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming
A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures
Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO are a plus
Strong communication and writing skills
Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly
Ability to flourish in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment
