Overview: PowderPure is in search of a qualified Inside Sales Manager to join our team. This role is a supervisory role that also assists in driving departmental goals.
This position is Full-time, located in The Dalles, OR.

Duties:
Develops a highly professional, talented, and winning inside sales team. Ensure proper staff levels and succession plans are in place to ensure long-term health of the sales function in the business unit.
Builds robust systems and SOPs to drive sales.
Provides support for sales team regarding deal structure, product pricing and best practices in ensuring financial responsibility while accommodating the customer needs.
Meets with key clients: assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
Plans sales meetings.
Ensures proper engagement of the team, proper training, and to drive execution and accountability.
Manages sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes used within the sales organization.
Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of reports and other documentation and intelligence essential to the sales organization.
Works together with business development to deliver new product wins and improve margins across all business unit categories and products.
Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process, contract negation, improvement.
Manages key company sales accounts.
Represents the company in various industry and professional organizations as needed.
Qualifications:
Must 3-5 years sales experience and sales leadership experience.
Experience preferred in a food powders, flavors, food formulation, colors, and/or industrial food ingredients.
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
Desired skills include:
Ability to drive execution in a sales team and throughout all functions in the organization, as needed, to support sales team efforts to maintain and grow customer relationships.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Excellent proficiency in MS Office (especially Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint).
Self-motivated, independent, action oriented, and be entrepreneurial minded.
Strong work ethic with a passion for sales.
Effective organizational and managerial skills are required.
An understanding of business financials and profit/loss statements.
