Wine Sales Representative Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - We are a Wholesale Distributor, with 15 (Fifteen) years in the business, since 2000. We predominantly represent small handcrafted- artisan producers highly rated, producing an exceptional quality with also a great value from around the wine globe.
The wine selections we offer are properly stored in a temperature controlled warehouse. Our portfolio consists of wines from the United States, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Portugal, Spain, Lebanon, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Australia, and So. Africa. Our focus is on family owned wineries that place the emphasis on quality not the quantity essentially. We have done very well in spite of the economic downturn. We are aggressively seeking motivated, energetic, self starting individuals. Integrity is a given coupled with a serious work ethic for the position you will be placed into as you are required to represent our portfolio with the utmost professionalism i.e. as if it were your own business. Essentially you must have a drive, a passion, and respect for the quality production of the handcrafted producers you will represent, with their same passion!
OFFERED POSITION?S QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Our Candidate?s must have the following minimum experience and requirements listed:
- Previous 1-2 years Sales or industry related experience and knowledge of wine is a must.
-References and recommendations are essential proof of previous experience in the field i.e. wine and beverage industry
- Knowledge and passion for fine wines and spirits
- Well organized with an ability to work independently- a self starter is key- the ability to build relationships quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with your co-workers and clients, and the ability to build along with
our team
- Computer skills are essential for correspondence and the production of needed doc's i.e. menu's etc. for your accounts
-Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Possess a valid driver?s license from this state
Our Candidate will be responsible for:
- Covering and saturating their designated territory given with necessary documentations.
- Expanding the sales in their existing accounts given with required account visit documented weekly.
- Opening and developing new accounts
- Conducting Wine tasting events
- Attendance is required for the sales meetings
- Attend and perform with our team at individual tasting?s for annual and local wine events etc.
Salary Information:
100% Competitive Commission Package, to include gasoline expenses, based on prior experience and execution with bonuses based on your quotas attained.
