Accounting Analyst Job Opening in Charlottesville, Virginia - We are presently accepting resumes for an accountant position with a growing privately held company. This is a full time position with excellent benefits, PTO, and work life balance.
Duties include :
General ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations and entries in a wide variety of areas such revenue, fixed assets/depreciation, etc.
Budget variance to actual research and reporting.
Prepare and record general ledger entries
Assist in compliance with all regulatory filing and reporting requirements for SOX
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting related activities
Assist with the optimization of accounting procedures
Other accounting responsibilities, as needed
Payroll processing and benefits accounting.
Job Requirements
B.S. Degree in accounting required.
Two or more years experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
Strong GAAP and accrual accounting experience
