Big Data Developer Job Opening in New York, New york - Scienaptic () is a new age analytics company that offers end-to-end decisioning solutions powered by our Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based platform ?Ether?. Some of the prescriptive solutions being built are for credit underwriting & monitoring, model risk management and fraud leveraging deep learners (GBM, Deep Nets etc.), enhanced data & rapid deployments.
As a Big Data Architect, you will be responsible for architecting and building scalable Big data systems. You will work closely with data scientists to enable sophisticated solutions in Ether and deploy batch/real time solutions.

Here's what we expect of you:
4 to 6 years of core experience in developing real-world applications (end-to-end) based on Hadoop & Spark ecosystem.
Strong hands-on experience in core Java and practical experience in linking various components in Hadoop/Spark stack to enable data cleaning & wrangling, developing predictors, model productionizing & enabling scoring as a service using API?s.
Strong SQL skills essential.
Ability to take the business/analytical problem and develop a robust technical architecture which you can clearly articulate to business & technical stakeholders.
Strong inquisitive and learning mindset with an intent to achieve goals & targets set. Strong problem-solving skills are a must!
Financial services and/or Healthcare experience is a plus.
