RESPONSIBILITIES
The Analyst is responsible for creating and performing real estate financial and market analysis for the Company?s property acquisition, development and investment activities. The position will entail, cold-calling , creating proformas, drafting offers, reviewing legal agreements, collecting and analyzing due diligence information, marketing analysis, creating loan request packages, and drafting investment summaries in acquiring commercial properties. This individual will have strong phone skills and experience underwriting commercial real estate assets. Proven phone skills, writing skills, communication skills, excel skills, knowledge of Argus, and sound judgment are a must.
Responsible for analyzing potential real estate acquisitions, investments and development opportunities
Research potential markets for commercial acquisition opportunities and source new acquisitions for the Company
Assist in the real estate due diligence process
Prepare comprehensive presentation materials that include; demographic analysis, market analysis, financial projections and competitive property evaluation suitable for approval by supervisors
Assist in coordinating a variety of outside consultants including; environmental, geo-technical, civil engineering, architectural and legal
Effectively works with third-party property management staff to evaluate achievable rental levels, expense comparable, and expense estimates for all acquisition opportunities being considered
Responsible for becoming familiar with costs associated with acquisitions, including physical renovation construction costs, site development costs, pre-development costs, etc.
Prepares reports, correspondence and other administrative paperwork on a timely, professional and accurate basis
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (or related work experience)
Excellent MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, communication, and writing skills
Excellent in Argus valuation software skills
Use analytical skills to identify opportunities and make recommendations
Interest and/or experience in commercial investments
1-2 years of real estate underwriting and investment experience
Strong phone skills
