The new addition to our team will play an IMPORTANT role by creating RELATIONSHIPS with our customers, and NEGOTIATING material pricing. Knowing the market and the customers and taking care of both is a large part of this position.
You will be surrounded by TEAM members who are caring, compassionate, helpful, and enthusiastic. Everyone here is like one big family. Come join us!
IMPORTANT: We have a very CHAOTIC office environment where DEADLINES are key and lots of things happen at once. You must be able to handle MULTIPLE TASKS at once, QUICKLY, efficiently, and with ease. You must thrive in chaos and be able to THINK ON YOUR FEET. You will always be busy and there won't be a lot of down time. When there is, it will be time for catch up and ongoing short and long term projects.
REQUIREMENTS
You MUST ENJOY negotiating on the phone and in person with customers.

Must be very intelligent

Make sales calls
Make follow up calls and thank you calls to existing customers
Handle digruntled customers with ease
Offer support to other team members
Negotiate Freight Rates
Errands (minimal)
Type at least 45 wpm
knowledge of WORD and EXCEL (Advanced preferred)
Knowledge of Power Point and Access helpful
10-KEY by touch preferred
Previous cash handling experience helpful
Very SELF ORGANIZED & Self Sufficient

COMPENSATION:
Competitive market-based salary commensurate with experience and education
We offer short term disability, long term disability, long term care, paid time off, holidays after 90 days and vacation and matching 401k after a year.

HOURS:
Friday and Saturday off
Monday 8AM-6PM
Tuesday - Thursday 8AM-5PM
Sunday 10AM-4PM
There is flexibility with the schedule Tu-Fr if you wanted to work a half day Friday and a half day Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
