Billing Specialist Job Opening in North Salt Lake, Utah - Requirements:
Transfer data from daily time sheets to invoicing system;
Accurate invoicing of work performed through the QuickBooks Enterprise Contractor System (QBEC);
Timely invoicing of work performed. Invoices should be sent out within five (5) business days of work being completed unless otherwise specified (i.e. weekly invoicing of ongoing projects);
Participate in weekly Accounting meeting. Key meeting functions include invoicing progress and paperwork issues involving elements essential to the invoicing process.
Assist the accounting department in other areas as needed
Qualifications: Acquire and maintain proficiency with QuickBooks (can train, but prefer experience)
Ability to follow directions
Knowledge of all service lines provided by the company (will train)
Knowledge of all materials and equipment used by the company (will train)
Ability to function proficiently in a high stress environment
Knowledge of contracted billing requirements and rates
Knowledge of customer invoicing platforms
Experience in construction, environmental services, or transportation industries preferred.
