Location: Orlando, FL
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Candidates who have strong 7-8 years of development background in Java/JEE, REST, SOAP, Web Services Security, Spring Framework, JMS, JPA, AMQP
* Conceptual knowledge of AWS, docker
* At least 1 year experience as a Solution Architect and has drive to group as seasoned architect
* At least 1 year experience in providing Scope Estimates with 80-90% accuracy.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills. Should be able to present the solution to Executives

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Solution Architect is responsible for solution architecture and design, as well as co-ordinate delivery estimates from various disciplines (solution, infrastructure, data/information) to define the most effective solution to business problems, while also leveraging their knowledge of existing systems and services and the capabilities available in the marketplace. The Solution Architect will also partner with Delivery and Sustainment teams and Shared Services partners (e.g., QA, DevOps, etc.) to ensure alignment of the solution approach. Work with various business stakeholders in problem-solving, creating business capabilities, and defining effective and efficient technology solutions for solving business problems and enabling business capabilities.
The ideal candidate requires technical knowledge and skills that are broad and deep, covering various hardware, software, and platforms. The candidate must be comfortable operating in complex heterogeneous technology environments and have experience with highly integrated and mission-critical solutions. The candidate must possess the ability to share and communicate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, to business sponsors and partners, technical resources, and executives, in clear concise language that is the effect for each respective group.
Technical Skills
? Architect with strong Object Oriented Programming skills.
? Experience in working with open source code and frameworks (hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, XML, JSON
? Required Knowledge of industry standard project execution methodologies like Agile/SCRUM or Agile/Kanban, along with a working understanding of epic, story, and task level sizing and planning activities.
? Proven experience working within "Cloud first" architectures, with a practical knowledge of cloud and hybrid cloud implementations.
? Familiarity with core design patterns.
? Familiarity with Java web services and Microservice Architectures
Job Skills
? Ability to independently design solutions for functional domains with minimal oversight
? Ability to independently run meetings with business and technology, and gather all information required to design their domain
? Ability to present their findings/solution to executives
? Ability to work with the offshore team including managing/assigning work
? Coordinate with Delivery Project Manager and Business Analyst to draft project scope and compile delivery estimates
Detailed Tasks that the resource will be responsible for -
? Develops high-level architecture design documents to facilitate integration of in-house development project and/or vendor based application within the existing enterprise architecture.
? Develops/Maintains ?Best Practices? policies/procedures for the technical implementations.
? Develops detailed data models for logical and conceptual database designs. Applies data modeling techniques and enterprise data standards to highly complex business requirements.
? Performs initial design, problem solving and reviews of software architecture
? Performs analysis oversight during detailed design of systems
