Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Raleigh, North carolina - We are looking for 2-3 ambitious people to join our team of storm-damage sales rep's. This is a self-paced job that has no limitations in pay! Unlike your hourly wage jobs that tell you what your worth each hour that you work, in this industry you (and your effort) decide your pay-rate! The only limitation is if you are able to motivate yourself and if you can stay motivated to keep going, even after a large commission.
This job is focused around storm restorations and renovations. 80% of our work, and your highest paying jobs, come from insurance claims for wind, hail and water damage. It's your responsibility to identify the damages (we train you on this), assist the client through the claims process and keep in touch with them throughout the process. We provide you with the areas to work, you just need to knock the doors and get them on board! No heavy lifting or endless hours of paperwork! The deciding factor is your initiative.
PAY:
During your initial stage (until you start receiving commissions), you are paid $50 for each inspection set up and conducted and $150 for each contract you write. These amounts are not deducted from future commissions but you must conduct at least 4 inspections, or sign at least one contract, per week to qualify for pay. Once you have received your 1st commission, this pay system ends and you are on commission only pay.
Commissions are based on the job total. You will be paid 11% of the job total during your first quarter with the company, commissions are incentivized from there. The average job in our industry is around $13,000.00 (which equals a commission of $1,430 per job) and the average salesman produces 1.25 jobs per week.
Commissions are incentivized. Milestone sales are set for quarterly sales. The milestone you reach will dictate the commission you earn, up to 13.5%, but not lower than 11%.
Hours:
Given you are a commission-based employee, you make your own hours! You can work as little or as much as you want, take time off when you want and so on. No-one is there to tell you when to work but you must represent the company well when you are working.
