Divisional Controller Job Opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma - What is the position?
As the Divisional Controller, you will provide support, leadership, and guidance to the accounting team to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
What will you do?
As a Divisional Controller, you will:
Ensure company accounting procedures conform to the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Create and implement processes to ensure adequate controls for SOX compliance are in place
Develop and manage financial controls
Assist with directing the International and US division accounting functions.
Aid in developing and maintaining an accounting team that supports business plans with an effective, efficient, and proactive approach.
Organize the development, preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial information to aid senior management's decision making
Organize the information needed for accurate and timely tax filings and disclosures for year-end audit.
Develop and review accurate and timely integrated monthly financial management reports, including balance sheets, consolidated income statements, and other supplemental schedules meeting all required deadlines
Generate reports and respond to questions, perform research, and recognize and resolve issues utilizing reporting systems and accounting transactions.
Communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization in a polite and professional manner
Show a strong motivation to provide fast accurate, and complete customer service
What are the requirements?
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or related
5-7 years of general accounting experience required
3+ years of controller experience
CPA preferred
Proficient in GAAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and database applications
Able to encourage and manage individuals to accomplish departmental goals
Able to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive material
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
