Lead Software Engineer Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - One of Chicago?s leading hospitality companies is looking to bring on a Lead Software Engineer with a strong focus on mentoring and some management. It will be a hands on role still (50-70% in the code and architecture) utilizing and Java 8 (microservices ? web layer is node based, backend is Java 8). This person should be strong with the technology and be able to build ?bullet-proof? apps as they say. Full-stack engineering, lots of work on the front end and backend. Any experience with AWS and Docker is a plus!
Required Skills & Experience
· Experience as a Senior Engineer or even a Lead already
· Must still be hands on with the code
· Experience with Node and Java ideal (Java 8 big plus)
· The term API Façade should make you smile
· You should like DevOps and Continuous Delivery
