Multifamily Controller Job Opening in Irving, Texas - Exciting opportunity to build the accounting department for a newly formed management company. This talented leader will create a productive environment and foster growth. Responsible for all aspects of Management Company?s accounting operations and financial administration, including technical accounting requirements, internal controls, implementation, operations and management of financial systems.
Lead, develop and direct property accounting team to satisfy owner and legal requirements.
Coordinate timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, required reports and audit packages.
Develop accounting operations and financial systems for efficiency and effectiveness, while ensuring appropriate controls.
Identify areas within the organization that could benefit from shared services, outsourcing or offshoring while mitigating risk.
Contribute to annual budget process and financial forecasting.
Create and maintain internal controls and safeguards for compliance with relevant regulations, standards and principles.
Oversee property-related banking and treasury functions.
Analyze Company?s financial results to maximize financial performance.
Assist senior management in financial planning and results management.
CPA and previous multifamily accounting experience required.
