Inside Sales Executive Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - HireWorks has partnered with a great client in Birmingham looking to add an Inside Sales Executive to the team. Responsibilities
Prospecting and contacting customers daily selling transportation brokerage services
Provide full cycle customer service from contract to delivery
Negotiate rates and contract carriers/trucking companies to find the most efficient shipping option
Provide order tracking and delivery confirmation
Responsible for identifying sales opportunities and closing sales
Qualifications
1-2 years of B2B sales experience preferred (not required)
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Marketing or Logistics preferred (not required)
Entrepreneurial sales approach, no set territories
Must feel comfortable cold calling (min. 70 calls/day until you develop your book of business)
Goal driven, independent, and has a passion for success
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
