Accounting Internship - Fall 2017 Job Opening in New York, New york - ITOCHU Prominent USA LLC designs and manufactures LeSportsac, Vince Camuto, Perry Ellis; men's and women's fabrics and finished garments for distribution to wholesalers and retailers. In addition, ITOCHU Prominent USA works with ITOCHU Japan to develop Japanese licensing and distribution programs for American and European fashion brands.
We currently have an exciting internship opportunity for an Accounting intern to support and help with accounting related issues for all brands (Alfred Dunner, Hearts of Palm, Ruby Road) in the Women's division.
Responsibilities include:
- Data entries
- Learn to prepare and issue debit notes for charge backs
- Making copies of invoices and debit notes
- Learn to prepare purchase orders and sales orders
- Learn and prepare sale pricing on excel sheet for sample invoices
- Learn payment procedures
- Learn SAP entries
- Learn SAP concepts and reporting skills
- Learn accounting procedures
- Learn multi tasks and judgment skills
- Learn about import documentation and US custom requirements
- Learn office communication skills
Qualifications:
- A team player

- Adopt and egger to learn quickly
- Punctuality
- Skills: Excel and accounting knowledge
- In pursuit of Associate /Graduate degree at an accredited institute.
- MUST be enrolled in a credit bearing internship course
