Respiratory Motion is a fast-paced startup that has launched the ExSpiron 1Xi, a state of the art respiration monitor. We are looking for motivated driven people who share our passion to improve patient care. We have developed and are commercializing a monitor with a signal that is becoming the EKG of respiration and we need a highly organized Executive Assistant to join our team.
Description
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Assistant to provide administrative support to the CEO, to manage assigned projects and to support the CEO in various business development opportunities. The right candidate must be proactive, organized, flexible collaborative and calm under pressure. Excellent communication, inter-personal and collaboration skills are essential for this role due to interactions with Senior Management, others across all levels of the organization as well as our Board of Directors, Investors and other Partners. Demonstrated experience in execution and accountability for project management. This position also requires a professional demeanor, sense of urgency, the ability to prioritize, and a high level of discretion with an ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information. Duties ? Project management
Develop and manage projects and programs for the CEO.
Develop project scopes and objectives in accordance with needs of all relevant stakeholders.
Perform risk management to minimize project risk.
Coordinate internal resources and vendors for successful project execution.
Ensure projects are completed on-time, within scope and within budget.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report issues and escalate to management as needed.
Duties ? Administrative support
Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including: managing email/calendar, expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence, arranging travel, compiling agendas and assigned projects as requested.
Communicate in a clear, professional and articulate manner. Directly liaise with other important internal and external contacts such as investors, physicians, customers and senior leadership on behalf of CEO.
Actively manage the calendar of CEO with little or no oversight.
Answer telephones, transfer calls, take accurate messages, and appropriately triage requests for
Act as a resource for the CEO in MS Office applications (Calendar, Contact List, Dropbox, Share Point sites and other technology tools commonly utilized).
Duties ? Business development support
Strong supporting role in business development activities.
Identify and help to develop strategic relationships with partners
Provide a bridge for communication between executives, internal departments and supporting team members.
Assist in formulating standard/routine proposals in conjunction with team members and various functional groups.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Science or healthcare background strongly preferred.
Strong PC literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Minimum of one year of Project Management experience
Participation in business development activities highly desirable
Experience in medical device industry a plus
