Qualification Requirements:
Must have a current driver's license and no felonies.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to work long hours as needed. * Ability to effectively communicate, be a functional resource, and work well with others. * Superior customer service skills are required * Must adhere to safety procedures * Reliable, self-motivated, honest, punctual, professional and flexible attitude * Ability to become licensed through the state of Arkansas (or state of operation)
Basic Functions:
A successful candidate must demonstrate superior customer service skills, excellent work ethic, motivation, and to meet and exceed sales goals. Additionally, a successful candidate will have superior ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This position is key to the business and responsible for selling vehicles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; and closing the sale. This position reports to the General Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
Develops customer base by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions. * Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport. * Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services. * Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile. * Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. * Demonstrate integrity and respect for the customer as well as company practices, procedures and policies. * Meet sales goals and follow up with customers * Telephone skills and etiquette * Excellent verbal and written communication * Customer focused and company oriented * Attend all mandatory meetings
Compensation:
Commission based pay with aggressive, attainable bonus payouts * Nissan has a very generous incentive program direct from the manufacturer to reward its sales consultants on a monthly and semi annual basis.
