Sales Representative Job Opening in Elgin, Illinois - Primary Job Duties: - HVAC Maintenance Agreement Sales
The primary role for a Maintenance Agreement Sales Representative is to acquire new commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts by developing relationships with owners, facility managers, and management companies. An innovative, goal-driven sales professional will sell preventative maintenance agreements to key decision makers within the Greater Chicagoland market.
Candidates should have a demonstrated success in developing and closing new business opportunities. We will train you on our industry.
A successful track record in service agreement sales would be helpful.
A true ?Hunter? calling at the C level. Emphasis will be working with, building owners, facility managers, and management companies to identify potential opportunities with new customers. You will be responsible for developing sales leads, qualify prospects, make sales calls, negotiate, estimate, bid, propose and close maintenance agreements at qualified margins.
You will balance your time between closing sales opportunities, prospecting and networking.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Directly closing new agreement sales Self-motivated with a passion for relationship building. Regularly gaining new business and being an active contributor to the team sales.
Active cold calling and prospecting 99% of the time. Team player, able to assist and help fellow team members with proposals, site visits, and follow up.
Help with customers issues when asked (retention, billing, etc.) Promptly respond to ?agreements at risk? salvage situations. Strong communication, planning, and presentation skills.
Must be comfortable selling to both C-level and technical buyers.
Proven record of sales proficiency. Selling maintenance agreements is a plus.
Solid Computer skills in Word, Excel and Sales & Marketing database programs.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
