ERP Analyst Job Opening in Little Rock, Arkansas - Provide continuous improvement, consulting, and software development activities for the Industrial ERP system and other applications as necessary. Analyze user needs and processes in our Little Rock, Arkansas manufacturing location, with a view towards best practices, reliability, cost reduction, and automation through active communication. Confers with users to analyze procedures, identifies opportunities, and helps define requirements and technical specifications. Participate in team effort for developing new features and functionality for existing software. Provide expertise in new software development tools and strategies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direction and technical assistance to the business regarding the ERP system. Candidate should be knowledgeable of best practices in the various industries. Must maintain familiarity with state-of-the-art applications.
Candidate will be identifying opportunities for business process improvements, scope, design, and implementation of new features, functions, and modules.
Assist users in developing detailed functional technical program specifications.
Provide business requirements analysis, recommend modifications of software packages, and assist in implementation of projects/modules.
Provide technical expertise to all functional areas.
Prepare technical reports, status reports, and instruction manuals. Provide user training as required.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with Universe/Unidata, or Pick tables and database structure.
Experience with Avante ERP management software preferred, but not required.
Utilize sound judgment in dealing with the business, personnel, or security-related data and information.
Capable of communicating with Manager and peers to explain issues, identify options and recommended solutions.
Able to manage tasks and priorities for self in a constantly changing environment.
Available for occasional travel and as emergency contact after normal work hours.
Generate enthusiasm and support of company objectives.
