Physician Assistant Job Opening in Bronx, New york - Small but mature, busy, primarily insurance-based private psychiatric practice in Morris Park neighborhood, Bronx NY (3 nights per week, 1 Saturday per month), with satellite office in Mount Vernon (1 night per week, 1 Saturday per month), 20 hours per week. We are looking first for a physician extender to help care for a large population of mostly stable psychiatric patients who need periodic med checks and re-evaluation. Triple board certified owner on site to work side by site at first. 2 full time permanent support staff, co-located therapist sub-tenants on site. We would like to work toward evolving the position with the right person to obtain credentialing for the physician assistant with select insurance companies to allow the physician assistant to work when the psychiatrist is not onsite, but with immediate backup. In business since 2012, approximately 500 active patients. Psychiatry experience preferred. Serious candidates only, please. Salary will increase with time and performance.
