Software Engineer Job Opening in Annapolis, Maryland - Compass Pointe is seeking a Software Engineer to work on a 6 month contract to hire project in Annapolis, MD. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development, testing and control systems.
Perform software development with Java, C++ or C programming languages.
Knowledge and experience working with Linux, Windows, Oracle database and VMware.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge transfer.
Follow and enforce engineering guidelines set in software development methodology.
Contribute to team coding standards and monitor code base for compliance.
Familiar with both Agile and Waterfall SDLC.
Experience with requirements analysis, design, development, test, implementation and integration.
Experience with software systems integration, enterprise authentication, and multi threaded programming practices.
SCADA Control Systems or PTC is highly desired.
