The company's Full Charge Bookkeeper is the primary accounting position and will report to the CFO. The Full Charge Bookkeeper is responsible for the company's financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, and various special analyses. Primary daily activities will include AP/PR processing, JC processing, preparing month end entries and closing the books for each period, assisting with HR processing and filing all completed source documents. This position will deal mainly with data processing. Full package of benefits in 90 days including Medical, Vision, Dental, LTD/STD, Life, Vacation, and Holidays.
Experience: 5 years Commercial Construction related. Sage/Timberline 300, MS Office Suite including excellent Excel, Word, and Adobe skills. Keyboarding skills in excess of 60 WPM, Payroll Wage and Hour Compliance.
Skills:
Should maintain good relationship and communicate frequently regarding business related needs with the Executives, Managers, Field Managers, Suppliers, Staffs, and auditors.
Must have good decision-making skills with regards to operational decisions by recommending procedural changes etc. in line with the Executive Manager.
Major responsibilities are Month End Reporting, Payroll, Job Cost, Year End Audit, and Forecasting in conjunction with all department managers to ensure smooth running of all financial related aspects.
Other responsibilities include the check of Statutory and compliance in the Organization to ensure appropriate standards of legislation and accounting are followed by the organization.
