Your Opportunity
We are seeking an energetic, innovative leader with a flair for developing new business and identifying and selling to customer needs through your appointed sales force. You?ll join our relationship-driven team and take charge of developing detailed sales/marketing plans and maximizing sales promotions and incentive programs to drive results and inspire productivity and teamwork. You will rely on your experience and good judgment to proactively and exponentially grow accounts in your territory and drive year-over-year growth in line with the overall territory revenue goals. You will be overseeing a sales area that will cover multiple states and represent MedTrainer as the point of contact for our sales team within that territory. A single territory may have up to 200 sales reps that need to be motivated, inspired, educated, incentivized and communicated with on a daily basis.
Due to the organization of our sales team most direct selling will be done by your team however larger opportunities may require you to step into meetings, assist with web conferences and phone calls, as well as assist with account acquisition directly. In addition, you have the following attributes: * Deep understanding of the business and technical contexts in which key accounts are situated * Ability to build consultative effectiveness and establish trust * Build and maintain extensive relationships with Regional Vice Presidents and Area Sales Managers in our sales team. * Innovative vision and foresight to anticipate and create new opportunities
Your Responsibilities
You will work with management to develop and execute a strategic and comprehensive business plan for your territory, including identifying core performers, mapping the benefits of MedTrainer?s solutions to the business requirements of our target market. You will strive to understand the customer?s organizational structure and work to achieve alignment. You will take full responsibility for accurate forecasting, regular quarterly revenue delivery, and facilitation of sales enablement and regulate the implementation of agreed account and business plans. Furthermore, you?ll coach partners, accessing resources within MedTrainer to support them on specific opportunities, with the goal of building sufficient capacity to meet customers? demand for MedTrainer-related services and skills. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develop detailed sales/marketing plans and sales forecasts
Manage time and work flow and create effective call plans
Monitor sales pipeline for your area and engage with sales team aggressively and appropriately
Build an exhaustive network and generate prolific referral
Do product demonstrations for prospects
Follow up and engage directly with prospects throughout the sales process from origination to closure of new accounts
Your Qualifications
2-5 years of successful sales experience in the healthcare industry.
Experience management large sales teams of 50+ sales professionals
A proven track record of over-quota achievement
Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment
Knowledge and experience working with channel partners and distributor sales representatives.
BA/BS or equivalent educational background
Experience with software such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Experience and knowledge of software and ability to learn, in detail, how to master the MedTrainer software platform.
