Residential Sales Consultant Job Opening in Lincoln, Nebraska - Seeking an experienced Sales Consultant responsible for residential and light commercial roofing and siding sales. This position is responsible for acquiring customers, sales, and project management.
Specific Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
Know and stay abreast of design requirements, codes and materials; use expertise to execute projects
Ensure takeoffs, work orders, contracts and other documents are completed by PM properly
Coordinate project activities to attain successful goals on all projects by focusing attention to on time and in budget project completion
Read adjustor reports and Eagle Views
Familiarity with Xactomate a plus
Management of assigned projects including of subcontractors
Controlling and prioritizing multiple activities while handling multiple projects
Prepare purchase orders request for review
Maintain communication with Operations Manager regarding scheduling
Coordinate final inspections with
Complete project closeout documents.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective communication ?Ability to convey information, concepts and concerns to people with differing communication styles
Sales Expertise ? experience with residential restoration sales.
Language skills ? Ability to read, analyze and interpret:

Roof system knowledge ? Knowledge of various roof systems, materials, construction processes and theories; desire to stay abreast of codes and other necessary information
Project management ? Work with the roofing superintendent, and PM to oversee quality control
Quality ? Knowledge to inspect and ensure attention to detail and quality
Monitor work to ensure quality
Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
Cost consciousness ? Understand budgeting and implications to jobs
Work within approved budget
Develop and implement cost-saving measures

Education and Experience
Essential
High-school diploma or equivalent
English fluency
Valid driver?s license
Ability to use/learn business technology
Roofing industry experience

Experience with estimating programs
