Candidates wishing to be considered for the LTL (Less Than Load) Transportation Sales Representative must have prior experience working in a Sales/Outside Sales environment . Ideal LTL Transportation Sales Representative Candidates will have prior experience working in an LTL environment . JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
LTL Transportation Sales Representatives will develop relationships with Customers, generating new Business within their Territory.
Interface with Customers to understand overall objectives and LTL Transportation Requirements.
LTL Transportation Sales Representatives will share details on additional offerings with Clients to provide value added service.
Present LTL Transportation services to current and potential customers.
LTL Transportation Sales Representatives will generate new Business by calling into potential new Clients, meeting in-person when needed.
Responsible for meeting Monthly Quotas set in place my upper Management.
LTL Transportation Sales Representatives will assist the Accounts Payable and Finance Teams in generating estimates, invoices, and payments from customers.
Form a customer base via networking, calling, issuing quotes, preparing bids, and making formal and in-person presentations when needed.
LTL Transportation Sales Representatives will maintain constant communication with the Operations, Logistics, and Customer Service Teams to ensure customer needs are met.
Contact Customers on a regular basis to maintain Account relationship.
LTL Transportation Sales Representatives will provide excellent customer service, ensuring they maintain professionalism at all times.
Answer Customers questions and concerns, making them feel understood and heard.
LTL Transportation Sales Representatives will develop and implement strategies to maintain and grow LTL Transportation Sales within their Territory.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned to the LTL Transportation Sales Representatives as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a proven record of success in a Outside Sales role.**
Ideal LTL Transportation Sales Representative candidates will have prior experience working in a LTL Transportation Sales environment .
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbally is a must.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a Team atmosphere is a must.
Strong organizational skills, with a problem-solving mentality.
Must possess strong time-management and negotiation skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and the Internet in general.
Great attitude with excellent Customer Service skills is a must.
