Your Role: We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join us at our plant in Lindsay, Nebraska. BUSINESS PROCESS ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
Weekly and monthly plant operations and spend reporting Accuracy of daily, weekly and monthly inventory transactions Accuracy of product costs including material, labor and overhead Fixed asset and capital project reporting and analysis

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CMA or CPA preferred Minimum 3 years relevant accounting experience, cost accounting experience preferred Working knowledge of cost accounting and standard cost systems Demonstrated analytical ability in a fast paced work environment Excellent written and oral skills Microsoft Office proficiency

EXPECTATIONS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

OBJECTIVES FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
Actionable reporting and analysis that drives process improvements and cost reductions Gain understanding of key financial and operational systems, including documentation of critical processes. Timely monthly communication of capital spend to project owners for Lindsay and ensure projects are closed out timely Learn other critical areas (payroll, accounts payable, etc.) and ensure appropriate documentation to enable backup coverage.
