Sales Executive - Payroll Job Opening in Dalton, Georgia - Direct Paychecks is a locally owned full-service payroll company with a well established client base and a dedicated team of staff. We are hiring a Sales Executive. In this position you will provide direction and leadership to achieve sales goals. You will identify and cultivate new prospects from relationships built with Bankers, Accountants, existing clients, as well as form new and valuable relationships with the like. In addition to payroll services, you will cross-sell solutions to new and existing clients, and effectively close sales.
Responsibilities:
Develop a sales plan with regional sales objectives. Implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve these goals.
Adjust sales plan as needed after close monitoring of the progress
Provide oversight for the sales administration process
Reach or exceed sales goals
Market and sell our suite of services to prospective clients
Utilize multiple communication channels (phone, email, marketing campaigns) to schedule appointments and develop a rapport.
Develop mutually beneficial relationships with potential and current referral sources such as Bankers and Accountants
Project a positive image consistent with our values in representing Direct Paychecks to clients and the community.
Strive to consistently gain technical, competitive and sales skills knowledge.
Mine existing clients for referral business
Connect customers? organizational needs with Direct Paychecks products and services and cross-sell other Direct Paychecks solutions to existing clients
Qualifications Required:
Relevant sales/marketing experience and education
Track record of achieving profitable sales, retention of clients and exceeding sales quotas
Must maintain a valid driver?s license
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
Bachelor?s and/or Master?s degree
Proven ability to effectively develop and lead a team
Excellent planning skills and ability to implement successful sales strategies to reach and exceed quotas
Effective communication through verbal and written mediums, including with C-level executives
Strong work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised
Ability to handle cold calling, with assertive, positive and persistent style
Proven customer service and relationship building skills
Aptitude for acquiring sales skills and product knowledge
Organized, with efficient time management skills
Ability and drive to effectively work independently and with a team
Mature and self-confident
