We provide solutions supplying top quality fluid system components, custom assemblies and fabrication, training and services to our customers in our territory in the Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky service areas.
Position Objective
Responsibilities include selling Swagelok products, services, and solutions to core customers in a variety of markets and applications. Additionally, Core Account Managers are responsible for managing existing accounts, generating new business, coordination with Inside and Strategic sales associates, achieving sales and performance metrics, and growing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Identify companies, projects, and applications that present sales opportunities for Swagelok and related products
Service and grow existing accounts and generate new business within territory
Prepare annual business and development plan for review with the Sales Manager
Clearly articulate the value proposition of Swagelok products and services
Schedule and perform presentations to customers
Report on potential product developments found in the field
Develop and maintain product, application, and industry knowledge using Swagelok?s educational resources and external educational resources
Support market specialists in gathering market research
Communicate in a clear and professional manner via telephone, email, or in-person to customers, associates, and management to help meet the customer?s expectations.
Manage projects and long-term sales opportunities and regularly report progress
Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university; 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, complex application, specification & documentation requirements, and business memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, flow, pressure, temperature, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office software.

Additional Requirements:
Frequent communication with the Sales Manager & President.
Associate must live in or within a 25-35 mile radius of Morgantown, West Virginia
Travel Requirements: Daily travel required within assigned territory. Less than 10% of overnight travel as required.
The position requires the possession of a valid driver?s license and clean driving record.
Employment is contingent upon the applicant pass a background check and drug screening.
