Office Manager - CPA Firm Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Boutique legacy Seattle CPA firm has an exciting opportunity for a motivated team player who is seeking an Office Manager position with a growing, professional but fun and collaborative firm. Candidate should possess strong client service skills and be detail oriented and organized with effective communication skills. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and an ability to work independently and as a team member. Position requires excellent project management, time management and multi-tasking skills.
KEY ROLES
This position will report directly to and work closely with the firm?s partners and managers.
Tax and Accounting Workflow
Provide excellent client service and assist with staff projects as needed.
Utilize professional ERP software to monitor and maintain client projects and due dates for tax and accounting work, tax extensions, and e-file authorizations.
Process and assemble tax returns and financial statements both in paper and paperless formats.
Set up new clients in ERP software and manage client portals.
Provide regular practice management reports.
Maintain and protect firm?s integrity and reputation by keeping information confidential.
Administrative
General office support including answering phones, filing, faxing, assisting clients, managing appointments and the daily office schedule and office operations.
Manage office supply budget and vendors.
Manage accounts receivable ? Post client payments, make bank deposits, generate and mail client monthly statements.
Enter vendor bills, expenses and payments into QuickBooks.
Involved with process improvement projects
Organize office events and lunches.
Assist with recruiting and social media.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree, Bachelor?s degree preferred
Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel; Adobe
Proficient with QuickBooks, a plus
Experience with social media and website management
5 years office management experience in the professional services industry
Authorized to work in US permanently
Strong English verbal and writing skills
