QA Tester Job Opening in austin, Texas - QA Tester QA Tester The QA Tester will focus on ensuring high quality game user experiences for new MMO games. They will coordinate, develop and conduct testing strategies, effectively maintain a productive and efficient testing schedule as set forth by the QA Lead Tester, throughout multiple titles in QA. Duties include, but are not exclusive to: generation of reports and documentation, effective testing strategies, information tracking, internal and external department communication, completing assigned tasks, project supervision and multi-tasking. Job Summary: ? Conduct daily testing tasks/priorities as set forth by QA Lead Tester. ? Be responsible for an in-depth knowledge of the title as well as the projects bug database. ? Be accountable for the tracking and documentation of various aspects of the title throughout the QA test cycle (reports, updates, test cases, milestones, etc). ? Review product documentation and product text for accuracy, readability, grammar and spelling. Coordinate all information with Senior QA Tester on each assigned project. ? Work alongside and communicate with internal and external teams. Requirements: ? Demonstrates a deep understanding of bug detection/isolation, definition and prioritization. ? Demonstrates effective multi-tasking, research, regression and use of the Bug Database. ? Demonstrates knowledge and experience in QA testing of Online titles. ? Demonstrates the ability to develop, implement and execute Test Plans/Cases. ? Demonstrates the ability to effectively execute QA methodologies and testing procedures as set forth by the QA Manager. ? Ability to complete test cycles and assigned task requirements within a designated timeframe. ? You?ve been a core member of a game test team with a minimum of 6 months of game QA testing experience at an MMO. ? Ability to learn quickly with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice to haves: ? You are able to effectively qualify game test requirements received from the QA Lead Tester, work independently, document and analyze test data and communicate results effectively. ?
