Biometic Health Screener Job Opening in Kohler, Wisconsin - INTEGRATED HEALTH 21, LLC is a national screening company and provider of on-site health and wellness screenings and flu shot clinics. We are seeking qualified professionals, available for flexible scheduling, to deliver exceptional service at our worksite health screening events in and around Kohler, WI during the months of January and February.
We are currently growing our team of Health Professionals for programs year round. Screening events are typically scheduled Monday through Friday with variable hours ranging from 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Travel may be requested overnight and on weekends. Work is PRN (as needed).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidates must have the knowledge and skills to accurately and confidentially measure and document results at various screening stations including: manual blood pressures, Height/Weight/BMI, Waist Circumference, cholesterol and glucose levels using LDX Cholestech Equipment
Data Entry ? Mobile Devise
Provide post-screening consultations on biometric results and lifestyle change.
Assist with screening event setup and tear down including, but not limited to, loading/unloading supplies
Adhere to Integrated Health 21 performance and professionalism standards including, but not limited to, data privacy (HIPAA) and confidentiality policies
EDUCATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience in a professional health care setting
Bachelor's degree in a medical, health, or fitness related field; or a nursing degree, EMT/Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant and/or Phlebotomist with appropriate current certification, registration and/or licensure in the state of practice preferred
Current CPR certification
Prior experience and proven proficiency in manual blood pressure measurements, height and weight measurements, and delivery of health related results to individuals (e.g. Lipid-profile + glucose screenings)
At minimum must possess a Limited Phlebotomy Technician (LPT) - Authorized to do skin puncture blood collection only certification.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have a reliable form of transportation, must be willing and able to travel, and must have frequent internet access via a laptop or desktop computer.
Successful screeners display strong interpersonal verbal and non-verbal communication skills, follow direction as a team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude, and demonstrate reliability and consistency.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is primarily performed in a room type setting. Some light lifting and carrying is required. May be required to lift and push/pull up to 30 lbs. Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours.
OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE:
Exposure to blood and body fluids, employee is required to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
