Distributor Sales Consultant - Wholesale Salon, Barber, & Be... Job Opening in Fayetteville, Arkansas - We are a progressive, growth-oriented wholesale distributor of high end beauty products selling only to professional stylists, beauty salons, spas and resorts in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. With headquarters in northeast Louisiana, we are a well-established company and an innovative leader in the beauty industry for over 50 years. Our sales team is committed to providing excellent customer service, offering unique educational events, and growing success of the salon industry.
To continue our expanding development, we are hiring self-motivated outside district sales consultants looking for a great career opportunity and a successful, rewarding challenge. We sell exclusive professional hair, skincare, and salon products and equipment, so knowledge of the beauty industry is highly preferred. We are in search of candidates who are self-starters, motivated by money, and ones who possesses the passion and desire to grow our clients' business. Successful DSCs are relationship builders with good people skills who focus on territory analysis and directly to the Sales Development Manager, DSCs service an existing portfolio of clients and grow the business by establishing new accounts in an assigned geographic territory. Daily job duties include in-salon sales, product promotion, presentations, educational event planning, merchandising, marketing, and office support. Other job duties include the following:
DSCs are required to develop and document an efficient call pattern within the territory to service all existing customers frequently and consistently, while also calling on new prospect clientele.
DSCs are required to learn about all available product lines in order to effectively sell and provide salon presentations.
DSCs are required to meet or exceed sales goals established by management.
DSCs are required to submit all paperwork, reports, and feedback in a timely manner in accordance with the respective due dates.
DSCs must assist salons in developing and monitoring in-salon promotions and programs.
DSCs are required to pick up all salon return merchandise to be processed and returned to headquarters in a timely manner.
DSCs are required to attend bimonthly meetings at our corporate Headquarters, as well as other scheduled events, classes, and product launches.
DSCs must represent Cook Beauty Supply in a professional manner and adhere to company standards for conduct and performance.
DSCs must perform any and all duties as assigned by management.
All applicants will be considered regardless of location. Relocation assistance is not available. DSCs must have reliable transportation, valid personal automobile insurance, and a valid driver's license. Knowledge of Cosmetology and/or Barber Industry is preferred. Sales experience is required.
