Medical Assistant Job Opening in Carmel, Indiana - Job description:
Complies with HIPPA privacy regulations
Answering the phone, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and filing.
Prepares examination and treatment areas.
Checks in patients, interviews patients, measures vital signs, records information, and prepares patients for exams.
Collects and processes lab specimens.
Expedites referrals to other health care providers.
Provides patient education.
Follow-up with patient test results.

Excellent customer service skills, and ability to interact in a calm, friendly, and caring manner
Ability to accurately collect patient information
Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations
Ability to follow well-defined instructions and comply with regulations, standards, and procedures

Strong organizational and analytical skills
Experience
One year of experience working in a clinical role preferred but will train highly motivated person
New grads without experience are welcomed to apply
Education:
Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program required
License and/or certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate required
