POSITION SUMMARY Our client is looking for a highly talented, smart support engineer to help support and maintain all platforms. The person in this role should be comfortable fixing bugs on different platforms. Day to day responsibilities include analyzing issues encountered by partners, providing analysis of the issues and suggesting solutions. The position also involves making code changes to solve complex issues in each of the software platforms. Good understanding of design and coding principles. The person in the role should be able to go deep into issues as required and isolate root cause of issues and suggest solutions. The person in this role should have expertise and passion for analyzing and fixing root cause of problems should be familiar with object oriented design and development. The person in this role will work with support tools to prioritize and manage issues. This position requires a high energy, self starter who takes initiative and drive tasks to completion with guidance from your manager and peers. The person in this position is also a quick learner and able to adapt to new technologies and processes, this position will be responsible for understanding and resolving difficult issues in a wide range of products. Being able to learn and understand products in great depth is extremely important. Primary areas of responsibility include Software support, development Knowledge of Java and related technologies are desired. Innovation, creativity, leadership and the ability to communicate effectively to customers, partners and other engineers is critical for this position. Responsibilities will also include: Resolving engineering support issue. Identifying problems and opportunities, and championing solutions. Taking leadership in owning bugs and driving them to completion. Communicating to end users, engineers, operations, products and program management. Learning new products and technologies. Researching and evaluating different solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Design, development. Maintenance and Support. QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION 4 years of engineering support and development. Bachelor?s Degree Computer Science, Math, EE or equivalent experience in field. Experience in design and development using Java and other object oriented techniques. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work both individually and in a team environment. Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL server. SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRE Experience in a fast pace agile environment. Design both internally and externally. Demonstrated ability to work cross-group well. Experience in understanding and analyzing difficult problems and the ability to come up with solid solutions which solve the cause of the problem.
