Territory Sales Manager Job Opening in Tempe, Arizona - The Territory Manager represents the company providing sales and customer service for Residential and or Multi-Family. The majority of the Territory Manager?s daily work activities are spent in the field, calling on existing partners and prospects. Must be comfortable calling on all levels of management and field personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Executes sales to meet or exceed the forecasted plan; achieving the territory sales budgets and increasing revenues while increasing margin.
Represents Cascade Windows during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications, and acting as liaison between, manufacturing staff and customer in developing sales proposals.
Provides exceptional customer service including contacting and establishing business relationships with potential customers as well as proficiently qualifying needs of existing and potential customers.
Effectively plans and conducts sales presentations for current and prospective customers. Designs professional demonstrations or presentations of company products and services and provides customers clarification how Cascade Windows can meet their specific requirements.
Tracks customer profitability factors including selling price, freight costs, and service realization. Utilizes this information to manage commitments made to and by the customer.
Explains Cascade procedures, policies, products, and services to new and existing customers including, but not limited to, payment, warranty, lead times, pricing, etc.
Utilizes time in the field pursuing leads, servicing partners and gathering market intelligence on opportunities and competitors. Leverages trade resources, contacts and influencers to help attract profitable business.
Provides training to customers on the features and benefits of Cascade products and services.
Communicates market conditions, successes and opportunities on a regular basis. Prepares recurring and special reports, forms or other documents for management, as required. Carries out other duties as assigned.
Completes and submits sales contract documentation in a ?timely? manner to ensure sufficient time to allow Cascade Windows to process and approve all contracted sales. Comprehends and executes financed sales agreements with various lending institutions to drive greater volumes and meet customer financial needs. Follows up to complete all contract amendments to ensure rapid completion of projects.
Needs to be able to track and forecast sales projections accurately. .
WORK EXPERIENCE
Four years of sales experience required including sales. Building Materials sales experience preferred. BS Degree preferred but not required.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
General understanding of construction and building practices required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Intermediate understanding of Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point functions is expected.
Ability to read and understand building plans as well as perform take-offs.
Ability to take initiative to identify and anticipate client?s needs and make sound recommendations for implementation.
Ability to effectively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and employment levels within and outside an organization.
Ability to engage in crucial conversations when delivery or receipt of the message content is difficult and challenging.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and building plans.
Possess excellent written communication, data analysis, and project and time management skills. Must possess organization, multi-tasking skills with the flexibility to manage multiple conflicting priorities and frequent change.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, empathize and reason with people in situations that are often sensitive and stressful.
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in identifying root cause analysis, developing a plan and implementing solutions.
