Dexter Edward, LLC is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, senior Android developer who can, unaided, extend our cyber defense solutions onto the Android eco-system. The primary responsibility of this job is to produce an intuitive (UI/UX), and the ability to design a highly performant and reliable application. Applicants will be required to seamlessly integrate RESTful API?s and third-party Android apps into the native application, understand and provide the security protections required for rooted Android development, and must know how to support mobile applications via the Play Store and outside of the public marketplace as a product. Standard developer competencies are also required, such as being able to identify and troubleshoot bugs, the capacity to research and provide innovative product improvements, and general problem resolution.
This position is a remote, work-from-home position and allows for job responsibilities to be performed on a flexible work schedule. Salary is dependent on experience and ability. 5+ years in general application programming (web, database, other client- server technology)
Fluent and highly experienced in Java
Prior experience developing and deploying an Android application

Familiarity with Git
Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks
Desired Skills
