The Collector is responsible for helping to insure that the customer establishes credit through timely payments. In addition the Collector is responsible for meeting various company performance goals. In this position, you will contact customers to remind them of their payments, call to collect on delinquent accounts, make field calls, and various other things. You must be able to build relationships with our customers and enjoy being on the phone. Collections with JD Byrider is all about a personal connection with our customers. Please go to to read about our company. Our store hours are from 9am to 8pm Monday -- Friday and Saturday 9am to 7pm. This job requires 40 hours. If you are not able to do this, please do not respond. Qualifications & Skills: ? MUST HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, THE ABILITY TO BE NICE, AND NOT COME ACROSS AS HARSH EVEN IN A NEGATIVE SITUATION. ? Excellent problem solving and follow-up skills. ? Proficient in Microsoft Office and above average computer skills. ? Must be Team oriented, have the ability to multi-task and to stay caught up on paperwork. ? Must be detailed-oriented and organized. ? Excellent oral and written communication skills. ? Ability to read people and work independently. ? Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral ? Must be a quick learner and self motivated. ? Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
