Finance Business Partner (Finance Analyst) Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - Company Description : Great Hall Partners (GHP) is a partnership by i) Ferrovial Airports (a worldwide leading airports operator, main shareholder of airports including Heathrow, Glasgow, Aberdeen or Southampton) and ii) S-JLC, a joint venture formed by JLC (an investment management Company founded by Loop Capital and Magic Johnson Enterprises) and Saunders Concessions (a Company of Saunders Construction, the largest Colorado headquartered contractor completing work locally).
Our group was selected as the preferred bidder to enhance the iconic Jeppesen Terminal at Denver International Airport (DEN) and is currently in negotiations to further refine the scope of work, design, financial terms and schedule for a potential long-term P3 for the DIA Great Hall project at the Jeppesen Terminal to improve the Great Hall Passenger experience and commercial offers.
This is an opportunity for DEN to offer an upscale and strongly differentiated choice of food and beverage, retail, and service outlets. The ultimate goal of the project is to keep DEN one of the safest, most convenient airports in the world while creating a truly experiential environment? an environment that establishes Denver as a new benchmark in US airports from which others learn and seek to emulate. Our team shares DEN?s vision to leverage the grandeur of the monumental atrium within Jeppesen Terminal to make the Great Hall an attractive focal point where the Rocky Mountains meet the world.
Overall Job Purpose
The Finance BP is responsible for the analysis of the financial status of the project by collecting, monitoring and studying data and recommending actions.
Primary Focus of the Role
Support the Vice President Finance and HR in the analysis of economic and financial data of the Great Hall, from the collecting of information, to its examination and the preparation of relevant reports.
Specific Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Vice President Finance and HR in the accounting and consolidation processes, including monthly close process, internal and external audits, financial statements according to applicable accounting standards,?
Provide tax information to support periodic tax reporting requirements, maintenance of tax records, & tax returns.
Prepare the monthly financial reports accurately and efficiently.
Review daily / weekly p&l and cashflow report and Review bank reconciliations.
On-site support to the Ferrovial Aeropuertos financial department in any financial related issues.
Coordinate & support other areas such as Asset Delivery, Commercial & HR in any financial issues, to help them to ensure the delivery of the month end, forecasting and budgeting financial processes on due time.
Maintains any database or specific financial tools by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
Improves financial status by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; proposed changes in methods and processes, recommending actions to the Vice President Finance and HR.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in a financial department, accounting experience.
Experience in forecasting and budgeting desirable.
Degree level education or equivalent desirable.
Analytical skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
Ability to meet and establish deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
